Who We Are
The Sunrise Christian Food Ministry started in 1983 to supply emergency food for needy residents of northeastern Sacramento County area. Currently, food supplies and financing are provided by 25 supporting churches, civic organizations, and individuals.
What We Do
It is the mission of the Food Ministry to provide an emergency distribution of nutritionally balanced food to households, when an emergency arises that creates food insecurity.
