What does "adopting" a portion of the trail look like?
Adopting a portion of a trail means you are committed to helping beautify our trails. While there is no specific portion of the trail assigned to volunteers, we encourage you to select part of a trail that is close to home/school/work or that you frequent often. Adopting the trail looks like:
- Picking up litter
- Removing debris from trail paths
- Reporting items like graffiti or out lights on SeeClickFix
What's in a Chip-In Starter Kit?
Starting November 1, 2024, the City will provide a Chip-In Starter Kit to get volunteers started on efforts to keep our trails beautiful. Stop by City Hall during open hours to pick up your kit which includes:
- Trash bags
- Trash picker upper
- Gloves
- Bike flasher
- Useful information
- More fun items for when you're on the trails!
